Tips for using your vest outdoors
Only switch on the heat once you stop – on the way up, your own body heat is usually enough. During breaks, choose the medium or highest of the 3 heat settings up to 45 °C, then turn it back down as soon as you get moving again. That way, you'll have more battery left for the way back. Wear the vest over a performance base layer, with a thin windproof jacket on top if needed. For hunting and long sits in the stand, a vest with more loft or a camo pattern is also a good option – you'll find them among our heated vests.
Battery and run time on the go
The 20,000 mAh power bank is included in the Complete Set and heats for up to 12 hours on low – enough for a long outing. On the go, it can also charge your phone or GPS device via USB. The vests were tested at -23 °C. To wash, remove the battery; the heating holds up to 300 washes. You get a 5-year warranty, free size exchanges and 30-day returns.
